Before taking classes at another institution for transfer, you should request an evaluation of the transferability of the course(s).
NOTE: If you plan on attending a college or university in Connecticut AND the course(s) can be found in the "Search Transfer Course Equivalencies" at: http://web.uconn.edu/transfer/search.php, then no prior approval is necessary.
Once you have been notified via email that your evaluation request is complete, you can view the credit approval form in the PeopleSoft Student Administration System.
After logging in, navigate to Prior Course Approval by clicking:
- Self Service in the Menu, then Student
Center.

- Under Academics, click the My Academics link.

- The My Academics page displays. Click the Prior Course Approval link.

- The Prior Course Approval page displays with your name and academic career, program, and plan information.

NOTE: Prior course approvals are processed for currently matriculated UConn students only.
Students enrolled in the BGS program may not utilize this option at this time. BGS students must complete the Center for Continuing Studies' Course Approval form: http://continuingstudies.uconn.edu/bgs/pdf/Courseapproval807.pdf
